Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vallonis Consulting LLC ("Vallonis," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with this website, vallonis.org (the "Site"). We have deliberately built this Site to collect as little information as technically possible.

What this website does not do

Because the Site loads no third-party resources, browsing it does not disclose your visit to any other company.

Information processed when you visit

The Site is served by our hosting provider, which - like any web server - automatically records technical connection data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, and your browser's user agent string. This data is generated by the hosting infrastructure for the purpose of delivering the Site securely and reliably, and for diagnosing technical faults and abuse. We do not use it to identify individual visitors and we do not combine it with other information.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the content of your message, your email address, and any information you choose to include. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and to manage the business relationship that may follow. We retain such correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose and for the period required by applicable record-keeping obligations, then delete it.

Disclosure of information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose personal information only to service providers acting on our behalf (for example our hosting and email providers), and where required by law, legal process, or to protect our legal rights.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of it, to obtain a portable copy, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive consumer privacy statutes, have such rights under their respective laws. Wyoming has not enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy statute; we extend the same handling to all visitors regardless of residence.

To exercise any right, email info@vallonis.org. We will verify your request by replying to the email address on file and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we perform no tracking, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of. Such signals are therefore honored by default.

Visitors from outside the United States

This Site is operated from the United States and is intended for a United States audience. If you contact us from a jurisdiction with data protection laws such as the European Union or the United Kingdom, we process your correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and, where applicable, in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. Your information will be processed in the United States.

Children

This Site is directed to businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the very limited amount of information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and email in particular is not a confidential channel - please do not send sensitive information by email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised, and the current version is always available on this page.
